This day is no
less than a shock to the entire nation and for those across the globe who
followed the impeccable work of talent powerhouse- Sridevi.
54-year old Sridevi died after a massive cardiac arrest, on
Saturday night (Feb 24), in Dubai.
The attack was massive and the actress succumbed despite several efforts made
to revive her.
Although the actress has left for her heavenly abode, yet what remains with us
are her glorious memories and an array of unforgettable work she has
contributed towards the Indian Film industry.

LITTLE SRIDEVI WITH PARENTS:
Sridevi was born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan on 13 August 1963 in Madras to
Tamil father Ayyapan and Telugu mother Rajeswari. Her mother was from Tirupati,
Andhra Pradesh.[7]Her father was a lawyer.
WORKED AS CHILD ARTISTE IN SOUTH FILMS:
Baby Sridevi's super performance in Poombatta (1971) in Malayalam won her the
Kerala State Government Award for Best Child Artist.
BOLLYWOOD DEBUT AS A CHILD ARTISTE IN JULIE, 1975:

played the role of younger sister to actress Lakshmi.

debut in Solva Sawan, Sridevi was signed opposite Jeetendra in Himmatwala. The
film released in 1983 and became one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
It established Sridevi in Bollywood and earned her the famous sobriquet
'Thunder Thighs'. Naino Mein Sapna became a rage and is still fresh in our
memories.

Sridevi, breathed her last in Dubai, as she was there to attend Mohit Marwah’s
wedding with Boney Kapoor and daughter, Khushi. On the day of her death, Boney
and Khushi were not with the actress as they had returned to Mumbai on
Sridevi’s request, as she wanted to stay for a few more days in the desert city
for an extended holiday.
ZERO WILL BE SRIDEVI’S LAST APPEARANCE ON THE SILVER SCREEN:

Sridevi shot with Shah Rukh Khan, a few months back, for a cameo in Aanand L Rai’s
